We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Protection Social Worker to join our team. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children within our organization.

* Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and circumstances.
* Develop and implement care plans to safeguard children's welfare.
* Liaise with families, schools, and other agencies to coordinate support services.
* Attend court hearings and provide expert testimony when required.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of casework activities.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of child protection policies and procedures.
* Participate in regular supervision and team meetings.
* Advocate for the rights and well-being of children.
Expectations / Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A relevant social work qualification (BA, MA, DipSW or equivalent).
* Significant experience in child protection work.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Resilience and ability to manage a demanding workload.
* Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
* A valid driving license and access to a car (advantageous).
