Medical Research Administrator
University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) welcomes applications for the role of Medical Research Administrator. The closing date is 09 June 2026.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional to support a wide range of clinical trials across the Division of Medicine, including Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Stroke/Lipids, Hepatology, Respiratory, Sleep studies and Endocrinology.
Main duties of the job
The Medical Research Team supports both commercial and non‑commercial clinical trials. The research administrator will provide trial management secretariat, reception duties and data handling services, and will be involved in all aspects of supporting clinical teams throughout the trial process.
The role requires initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be in contact with a broad professional group and members of the public, representing the Trust at all times. Work will be carried out in accordance with the Clinical Trials Directive, ICH‑GCP, Research Governance, local SOPs and Policies. Knowledge of these requirements is necessary.
This position is full‑time and offers flexible working and compressed hours.
