The University of Wolverhampton is recruiting an ambitious, commercially-focussed and experienced Director of Estates and Facilities to lead the strategic development and operational delivery of its multi-campus estate.
Location: Wolverhampton (multi-campus)
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable estate that supports the University’s strategic ambitions as we embark on an exciting, fast-paced and visionary Estates Masterplan. This is a critical leadership position overseeing a broad portfolio including capital development, estates operations, facilities services, customer experience, and health and safety. You will lead a significant capital programme (circa £15–20m per annum) and ensure that our estate infrastructure aligns with the needs of students, staff, and the wider community.
We are seeking a proven leader with extensive senior-level experience in estates and facilities management within a large and complex organisation. You will bring strong commercial acumen, a track record of delivering large-scale capital projects, and a collaborative, inclusive leadership style. An understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the higher education sector is desirable.
