The role includes assistance with daily living tasks, household duties, and social activities. About the Employer I am a 29-year-old independent adult living in West Yorkshire and a full-time wheelchair user. I work full-time for the NHS and lead an active and fulfilling lifestyle. I’m a passionate football and music fan, playing video games and I also play wheelchair basketball in my spare time. I enjoy gardening, shopping, and keeping a tidy and welcoming home. I require support with some physical tasks due to my disability, including assistance with driving and getting out and about in the community. This includes attending football matches, music gigs, and travelling around the UK to meet with friends. I also require help with housework such as cleaning, washing clothes, making beds, preparing food and grocery shopping. I’m looking for a reliable, friendly, and respectful Personal Assistant who can support me in maintaining my independence and enjoying the things I love. Main Duties Domestic Support General household cleaning, tidying and washing clothes Taking out bins and managing household waste Assisting with packing and organising medication Light gardening tasks such as mowing the lawn, watering plants Personal Assistance Support with shopping and errands, including trips to supermarkets Occasional support with attending appointments or social outings Support with some driving Preparing food and drinks for example making and carrying a hot drink.
