GROUNDWORKER – Deep Drainage We are seeking experienced Groundworkers with strong deep drainage expertise for a busy housing project in Dover. This role is ideally suited to operatives who are confident working on deep drainage systems, complex installations, and below-ground infrastructure. Key Duties Installation of water drainage systems, including deep drainage runs Gullies, laterals, and manholes installation to specification Working in deep trenches, ensuring correct benching, shoring, and safe working practices Laying and aligning pipes to correct levels and falls Installation of ducting and service crossings Confident working around live services, using safe digging and avoidance techniques Supporting road formation and external works associated with drainage Operating dumpers (valid tickets required) to support drainage activities Working safely alongside plant and other site operations Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment Requirements Proven experience in deep drainage and groundworks (essential) Strong understanding of levels, drainage runs, and site drawings CSCS Card Confinded spaces ticket Dumper ticket (preferred) Previous experience on housing or large-scale construction sites Good awareness of health & safety, particularly working at depth Reliable, hardworking, and proactive attitude Desirable Experience with manhole building and chamber installs Additional CPCS/NPORS plant tickets CAT & Genny training What We Offer Competitive weekly pay Long-term work on a busy project Immediate start available Opportunity to work with an experienced team on specialist drainage works How to Apply Send your CV and tickets to recruitment@coinford.co.uk or call 01342 840084 or call our contracts Labour Manager Ben Firth direct on 07584362224 quoting: "Deep Drainage Groundworker – Sittingbourne
