International Students House (ISH) is a vibrant and inclusive student community based in central London, providing accommodation, scholarships, and support for students from the UK and around the world. We are looking for a proactive and organised Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at our new site on Kennington Lane. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our buildings and supporting a small team of cleaners. Key responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day work of the cleaning team, ensuring high standards are met across all areas. Prepare and manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate shift cover. Conduct regular building and room cleanliness checks. Order and manage cleaning materials and linen supplies. Carry out bedroom cleans (approx. 5 per week) and cover cleaning duties during staff holidays. Liaise with the Facilities and Resident Services teams to coordinate summer cover and room turnaround. Report maintenance and health & safety issues promptly. About you: Previous experience supervising a cleaning or housekeeping team (preferably in accommodation, hotel, or student housing). Strong organisational and communication skills. Hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example. Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Basic IT skills for rota and inventory management. Benefits Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays (pro rata), rising by 1 day per year up to 33 days.
