As our new
ICA Engineer
, you will play a crucial role in providing SCADA, Instrumentation, Control & Automation engineering expertise, particularly in the water industry. Your contributions will help us deliver design and build services for both new and existing infrastructure assets. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on various ICA documentation, ensuring compliance with plant design criteria and asset standards. Overseeing ICA-related installation and commissioning works on-site to maintain quality and asset standards. Conducting fault finding and system configuration for ICA equipment, including PLCs and control panels. Collaborating with the Supply Chain to create accurate and innovative proposals while supporting the contractor procurement process. Performing thorough technical reviews of Electrical Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance with project and legislative requirements. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have: A HNC qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation engineering, or a similar discipline. Experience in ICA engineering, including PLCs, HMIs, Profibus networks, and SCADA installations, along with a solid understanding of large motor control centres (MCC) and associated ICA sections. Knowledge of analytical instrumentation such as flowmeters, temperature meters, and pressure meters. Experience in contractor management and reviewing contractors' technical submissions.
