Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time Remote ANP as a salaried team member to work predominantly at Bramley Village. The staff member is expected to join on Thursdays and Fridays to provide cover at the back end of the week. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) focusing on eConsultations is integral to enhancing access to healthcare through digital means. This role involves managing electronic consultations (eConsultations), providing high-level clinical assessments, advice, and treatment recommendations primarily through online platforms and telephone appointments. The ANP will work under the guidance of and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and effective patient care remotely.
The role requires a high degree of clinical expertise, excellent judgment, and proficiency in using digital health tools to manage patient care efficiently. The ANP will help develop and implement eConsultation protocols and guidelines in line with national standards and best practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle complex information in a virtual environment are essential.
Main duties
* The completion of e-consultation clinics across the Fuller and Forbes Practices (Bramley, Leeds - Primarily).
* Engage with patient requests via the eConsultation service to provide clinical assessment and diagnose health conditions based on patient information.
* Participate in clinical meetings with remote clinical staff to develop protocols for managing eConsultations.
* Complete self and practice-generated administrative tasks to ensure continuity of care.
* Provide follow-up telephone calls to patients as required following the eConsultation.

Pay: £50,000 to £60,000 per year

Job Description and Responsibilities
EConsultation Management
* Clinical assessments via eConsultations: Assess patients using eConsultation tools, reviewing symptoms and medical history.
* Diagnosis and treatment planning: Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications or recommend tests as appropriate.
* Referral coordination: Refer patients to other services when needed to ensure seamless care.
Protocol Development and Implementation
* Develop and implement eConsultation protocols and guidelines in line with national standards.
* Ensure quality standards and patient-centered care.
* Provide training to other professionals on eConsultation systems.
Patient Communication and Education
* Guide patients on how to use eConsultation services and set expectations.
* Deliver health education and advice during eConsultations.
* Arrange appropriate follow-up care, including additional consultations or in-person visits as needed.
Record Keeping and Data Management
* Maintain detailed records of all eConsultations and ensure data security and privacy compliance.
* Monitor outcomes to inform service improvements.
Collaboration and Professional Development
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate eConsultation findings into care plans.
* Continue professional development in digital health and telemedicine; contribute to professional forums as appropriate.

* The role is wide and evolving; tasks may evolve beyond the listed duties in line with role expectations.
Qualifications
Essential
* Masters degree in Advanced Practice. Additional qualifications in digital health or telemedicine are advantageous. Digital badge desirable.
* Extensive clinical experience as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with substantial remote care experience and strong eConsultation skills.
* Advanced assessment and diagnostic abilities; competent in prescribing and managing medications remotely.
* Technical proficiency with digital health tools, telemedicine platforms, and electronic health records (EHR).
* Excellent communication skills, capable of working with an interdisciplinary team and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Desirable
* Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to new technologies and remote care settings.
* Understanding of healthcare regulations including data protection as it relates to e-consultations.
* Leadership and teamwork capabilities; ability to mentor others and collaborate effectively.
