Overview
Inclusion Coordinator – Outwood Academy Foxhills. Outwood Academy Foxhills places students at the centre of everything it does, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning and increased student attainment, achievement and social and emotional development. The role involves leading the Inclusion team, coordinating support for pupils with additional needs and ensuring timely, confidential communication with students, families and external agencies.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the daily support of the school and ensure all pupils are catered for during their time in the setting.
* Lead and develop the Inclusion team (SENDCO, 5 learning managers, TAs, Inclusion Administrator and SEND Officer) to raise standards and meet deadlines.
* Use experience with SEND to develop strategies and interventions that support vulnerable students to achieve their full potential.
* Accurately input, track and monitor data relating to these students and produce reports and recommendations for the Senior Leadership Team and the Inclusion team.
* Deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience of working with students with SEND; ability to plan, prioritise and lead a team.
* Strong organizational and management skills; capable of working on own initiative and leading by example.
* Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and external agencies; comfortable handling confidential information.
