Job Description
Our client an emerging and well-funded start up is seeking a Senior Engineer who is very comfortable working autonomously, someone who flexible in their approach and have the ability to switch from putting together a quick proof of concept as well as building something solid for the long haul.
Ideally you will have Elixir knowledge, but our client will also consider candidates from other backgrounds who have strong fundamentals and are keen to learn. Ruby on Rails experience would translate particularly well given the similarities with Phoenix
In addition, you will have proven skills in as many of the following as possible:
Agile development practices, AWS/DevOps, database proficiency, Front End awareness (React, Vue, or LiveView) and experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
This is a full remote role but will require someone who can be flexible in their time zone working (some colleagues will be based in US)
3 month initial contract, starting ASAP, outside of IR35 - rate negotiable on experience
