Overview
We are recruiting for a SEMH teaching assistant with experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviours in Cheshire East and surrounding areas. We have roles in:
* Runcorn
* Warrington
* Wigan
* Northwich
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) both in the classroom and during lunch and break times. Working closely with the class teacher, you will assist in a range of learning activities and help create a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all pupils. The role also includes leading small group sessions to support individual learning needs.

Requirements
To be considered for this role you will need:
* Experience supporting young people with SEMH/Challenging behaviour
* Ideally would be De-escalation / positive handling training
* A positive attitude and flexible approach
* Confident with personal care
Additional requirements
* References confirming suitability for role
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
* Eligibility to work in the UK
