The Role:
Working as part of the Catering Team, to prepare cook and serve food and undertake cleaning duties relating to the provision of high quality catering services for patients, clients, staff and visitors to the agreed standard.
Hours of work: 3 roles available:
1. Working 5 days out of 7 each week to include weekends - shift from 4pm to 8pm
2. Monday to Friday - rota shifts between 7am and 8pm
3. Working 5 days out of 7 each week to include weekends - rota shifts between 7am and 8pm
Essential Criteria:
4. Understanding of good hygiene and health and safety practices
5. Have experience of carrying out a range of catering duties in a working environment
6. Co-operative attitude
7. Willingness to undergo appropriate training
8. Good verbal and written communication skills
9. Literate and numerate - must be able to read and understand written instructions, health and hygiene notices and patient menu requirements and undertake basic quantity calculations
10. Ability to work effectively as a team member
11. Ability to follow instructions
12. Ability to use own initiative and to cope with emergencies in a calm manner
13. Ability to relate easy to staff and the general public
Desirable Criteria:
14. 2 years' experience in a catering operation
In Return: £ per hour
