Wood is currently recruiting for an Integrity and Verification Engineer to support our client’s Operations and Maintenance team on a permanent staff basis. Remote working is acceptable, but planned Regular visits to the Northop Office and site are required. The role is expected to require 30 hours/week but may require more during periods of high activity if requested. Participation in the emergency response plans and may require the candidate to be on call on a rota. Responsibilities Integrity & compliance focal point for the asset, responsible for providing, developing, planning and managing the integrity, structural and class inspection program for the asset. This is a key role working with the vessel support team to ensure compliance with both the safety case and marine regulations. Act as the deputy DPA for the vessel. If necessary, training will be provided. Previous experience in marine operations is an advantage Identification, management and monitoring of asset integrity issues which have the potential to impact the continuing fitness for service of the asset Coordinate the offshore inspectors to ensure efficient delivery of the inspection plan for compliance against pressure systems, structural & marine inspection requirements Produce Inspection Workpacks, drive completion review and close out With assistance form the asset team ensure timely close out of RAR’s Manage Topside integrity activities throughout operations Produce Topside Annual Integrity Reports Manage the thorough reviews and RBI system for the asset Manage deferrals of inspection activities With assistance from the discipline TA’s perform technical assessments of anomalies raised during inspections, including API 579 Fitness for Service Calculations. Management of anomaly risk assessment and assignment of repair tasks Assign of FM tasks Participate in integrity-related Failure Investigations and Root Cause Analyses Coordinate 3rd party vendors and provide scopes of work where required Create an own the annual and five-year asset integrity plans. Expected: Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline Recognised and accredited trade or management qualification with relevant and considerable experience Licensed Ships, Deck or Engineering officer with Seafarers Documentation conforming to ILO & STCW conventions
