£150 - £170 per day | Long-Term Temporary | September 2025 start

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Pontefract for a long-term temporary role starting in September 2025.

The RoleAs a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership teams to support pupil development.
* Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, respectful learning space.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 5 pupils.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A proactive and nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
