Transaction Taxes Director
BDO – a leading accountancy and business advisory firm – seeks a Transaction Taxes Director based in the Thames Valley. The role involves leading a range of transaction tax due diligence and structuring work for private equity houses and acquisitive corporates. Responsibilities
Lead tax due diligence and tax structuring projects, working closely with VAT, employment tax specialists and Transaction Services. Develop and maintain a network of contacts internally and externally to win work and cross‑sell. Manage project risks, ensuring high‑quality delivery and a strong client experience. Provide input into legal documents and forecast models. Co‑ordinate coaching and development of junior staff. Contribute to key transaction relationship development and wider strategy. Identify and convert opportunities for expanding services to existing clients. Qualifications
In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation with specialist expertise in complex transaction issues. Demonstrable transaction experience, project and people management experience. Ability to develop client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion. Experience dealing with client senior management and stakeholders such as legal advisers. CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
