It’s a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting team; we’re looking for experienced individual who will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery or lead of group projects. You will lead projects, plan resources and govern those projects according to strict deadlines and within set and agreed budget, while adhering to relevant Mueller policies especially GO, rules and guidelines. You will also undertake responsibility for the maintenance of overall process model and process landscape and coordination of development of Global process platform and oversees governance. The role can be located at either Droitwich or East Kilbride with a hybrid working model with 3 days on site Your challenge for the Senior Project Manager: - Project Management (Group Projects) Work with key stakeholders, project team and others when relevant to: - Facilitate the definition of the project scope, requirements and deliverables and define project tasks (work breakdown structure) and resource requirements using Mueller standard documentation. - Manage the project budget in line with business expectations and budgetary commitments. - Develop, control and communicate the project plan, timeline and milestones and track and report project deliverables. - Manage Risk, Issues and Changes on an ongoing basis. - Ensure that any deliverables requiring support in steady state are handed over to the relevant teams. - Ensure that UTM Legal and Procurement processes are followed. - Ensure that project audit responsibilities are met. - Close the project, ensuring lessons learned are documented. - Follow applicable policies, framework, standards and guidelines that have been identified for the project. - Ensure that GPOs are involved and aligned with the group project. Resource Management (Group Projects) - Acquire resources (internal and nominated 3rd party, if required) and co-ordinate team members to deliver projects according to plan and budget: - Assemble and co-ordinate project team (Business, IT and External). - Negotiate with resource owners and as required, ensure that project targets are provided for project resource. - Where 3rd party contract negotiations are required, the Project Manager will work with the relevant procurement team to ensure that procedures are followed. - Ensure that appropriate project team training is planned for. Stakeholder Management (Group Projects) - Identify and liaise with Key Stakeholders to provide applicable governance for the project: - Identify and agree participation of Project Sponsor (GPO). - Where required - creation of the Project Board and Project Steering Groups. - Regularly monitor and report progress to all stakeholders and the steering group. Global Process Coordination (Process Management/Organization) - Maintain overall process model and process landscape - Coordinate development of Global Process platform and oversees governance - Coordinate larger initiatives and resources across interdisciplinary E2E processes (Program Coordinator) - Coordinate and lead GPO Boards and escalation Boards - Steer and monitor business-wide process performance (KPIs, SLA, OLA) - Drive Business Process Expertise - BPM-Trainings (transfer of process knowledge into the organization) - Support in group-wide standardized change management method (strategies, guidelines) - Support GPO/PO in change of business processes / procedures - Drive the change for responsible (Group-) Projects and project management excellence - Creation of communication materials Project Management Governance - Project Management: Methodology, Trainings/PM Coach and PM tool owner (classic, agile) - Develop and implement Multi Project Management/Portfolio Management incl. escalation and prioritization rules - Build up group wide resource planning to optimize project management - Steer and report status and performance of group wide projects (across interdisciplinary E2E processes) Key skills & experience for the Senior Project Manager: - • Bachelor’s degree • >5 years work experiences with background in strategy consulting (min. 2-3 years) •Strategic thinking and experience in project management / lead •Distinct goal and solution orientation as well as economic thinking & acting with a strong decision-making competence •Strong process orientation and analytical competence (across different End-to-End processes) •Ability to actively advance projects and manage change processes, incl. cultural ones •Power to drive change through the whole UTM organization •General commercial and business management knowledge •Demonstratable confidence levels to engage with project managers and more senior stakeholders •Passionate team player with hands-on mentality •Ability to work on several parallel workstreams •High ability to solve conflicts and problems, assertiveness, and resilience •Excellent German & English written and verbal communication skills •Knowledge of process modelling (e.g. BPMN) •Advanced knowledge in SAP FI/CO, SAP BW as well as BI Tools •Excellent Microsoft Office skills •Willingness to frequently travel (in Europe and UK).
