Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them develop greater independence? We’re working with a specialist further education setting in Coventry that provides tailored support for learners with a range of SEND needs, and they are looking to wee dedicated Learning Support Assistants to their team.
The Role
You will be supporting students aged 16–25 with a variety of learning needs, including:
1. Autism
2. Physical disabilities
3. Social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
Your responsibilities will include:
4. Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
5. Assisting with personal care where required
6. Helping students access learning and develop life skills
7. Working collaboratively with tutors, therapists, and wider support teams
8. Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

9. Experience in SEND, care, or support work
10. A calm, patient, and resilient approach
11. A genuine passion for helping young people progress
12. Willingness to support with personal care if needed
13. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
