What You Can Expect
As a Sales Representative you will help achieve total budgeted sales and individual product targets for the assigned territory and represent the Company in the highest professional manner. You will be responsible for building relationships with Health Care Professionals whilst adhering to Company policies at all times. You will attain proportionate regional sales targets and contribute to sustaining profitability by adherence to Company pricing policies.
How You'll Create Impact
* Sell on an exclusively directed basis, the Company's range of products as guided by management strategies.
* Develop close relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and allied personnel on the territory.
* Provide, or arrange to provide, all necessary training on Zimmer products, but never to assist in any surgical procedure or patient intervention.
* Follow up leads or visits in a timely manner as directed by the Sales Manager.
* Adhere to divisional sales strategies under guidance of the Sales Manager.
* Acquire knowledge of Zimmer and competitive products to be effective.
* Attend sales meetings, exhibitions, and staff training when required by the Sales Manager.
* Ensure that samples or instrumentation are cared for adequately.
* Take part in stock checks of FOC instrumentation and consignment stocks as required.
What Makes You Stand Out
* Experience successfully selling within the Medical Devices sector
* Understanding of technical medical language and anatomy to interact with surgeons and theatre staff
* Full knowledge of divisional product portfolio
* Problem solver who can adapt to various environments
* Minimum 'A' level or equivalent; preferably a business degree or equivalent
* Knowledge of designated territory, hospitals and relevant hospital personnel
Your Background
* Proven selling and negotiating techniques with strong business acumen
* Strong presentation, customer-centric, relationship and communication skills
* Analytical ability and problem solving
* Regular travel by car within the territory; UK travel with overnight stays and occasional international travel as required
* Clean driving license essential
