Supply Chain Manager Location: Northwich

PURPOSE
To lead and manage Seatrievers global supply chain operations, ensuring robust planning, efficient procurement, timely production, and effective logistics management. The role ensures products are available to meet customer and retailer demand, while driving cost efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Planning & Forecasting
Develop and manage demand and inventory forecasts, considering seasonality, promotions, and retailer commitments.
Ensure stock availability meets global customer requirements while maintaining lean inventory levels.
Procurement & Production
Oversee the placement and tracking of purchase orders with factories.
Ensure accurate and timely goods receipts, delivery notes, and SKU set-ups in SAP.
Liaise with Far East factories to manage bulk and sample production.
Logistics & Distribution
Manage freight activity across sea, land and air, liaising with freight forwarders and 3PL providers.
Approve shipping schedules and freight costs, ensuring shipments meet customer delivery deadlines and customs compliance.
Maintain tracking records for all shipments and resolve queries promptly.
Warehouse & 3PL Management
Oversee warehouse operations through 3PL partners to ensure timely and accurate stock receipt, storage, and distribution.
Monitor warehouse performance against agreed service levels.
Performance & Reporting
Track and report supply chain KPIs to senior management.
Propose and deliver supply chain improvements in cost, efficiency, and service levels.
Ensure accurate internal reporting via ERP and databases.
Team Leadership
Manage, coach and develop team members within the supply chain function.
Role model the required behaviours and foster collaboration across the business.
