THALES are looking to recruit a dedicated Courseware Designer to work within a team of courseware designers and create, maintain and manage courseware for programmes to customer requirements; develop, design training interventions and deliver training to the customer, without day-to-day guidance or supervision predominantly for maintenance roles up to Level 3, in a professional manner and in accordance with the client's relevant specifications, standards and Thales (Chorus II) and internal documentation processes. To create, maintain and manage courseware for maintenance activities. Consistently demonstrate the value of a range of Learning and Development techniques. Work with end user to articulate the training programme deliverables. Recommend changes to training affected processes and procedures and follow through with required updates. Provide training decision outputs within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority. Analysis of trending training data to manage learning and recommend changes required to improve learning outcomes for the end users. Analyse, design and deliver training to UK MOD JSP822 standards to ensure the Company training outputs remain compliant. Compile data, to a variety of national / international /civil / military specifications, and produce physical/electronic deliverables. Deliver training to the customer. Take responsibility for contributing to team planning, risk management, quality and HSE. Set targets for and manage own development with line manager. Seek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve own practices. Who are we looking for? Expertise in Maintenance Training Ideal experience as a Senior NCO from a forces instructional background (Navy WE/ME, REME (Army) or RAF Technician) or a civilian FSE with the appropriate training qualifications. Training analysis, development, design, implementation and evaluation of creating learning content. A record of accomplishment of service and maintenance in a relevant (preferably Marine) engineering discipline, working with Complex Electrical and Mechanical Systems. Excellent standard of written and spoken English. Articulate and able to communicate at all levels of the organisation. Organisation and problem solving skills Travel will be necessary to support design and delivery on other sites approximately 10-250% Due to the nature of the role, this opportunity is UK Eyes only SC Clearance. Training Experience: Essential Demonstrable success in provisioning and delivering training programmes.
