Customer Assistant - Beauty - Meadowhall. Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Bakery section, where you'll champion our delicious baked goods. We’re seeking passionate individuals with a love for baking and a deep understanding of bakery products to deliver fresh perspectives every day.
You’ll be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our bakery products. Through remarkable service you’ll make sure our customers feel valued every time they shop with us.
Responsibilities
* Serve our customers efficiently and brilliantly on the shop floor and at service points.
* Deliver “best in town” standards through presentation, product availability, and maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene.
* Utilise digital tools and communication channels to do the job effectively.
* Share customer and colleague feedback to help us improve.
* Support others by sharing knowledge and building confidence; own learning and development through digital learning solutions.
* Know daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities; have great product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations.
* Understand store priorities and how you contribute to them.
* Complete tasks with pace in line with SOPs; minimise cost and waste through good process practice.
* Follow safe and legal working practices.
