Company Overview
Our client is a well-established Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health contractor based in London, with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality engineered solutions across the commercial sector. Operating across London and the South East, the business has built itself into a trusted name for technically demanding fit-out, refurbishment and new-build projects.
They offer a fully integrated service from in-house design through to final installation and project completion, with strong internal capability across BIM and CAD. This integrated model is one of the key reasons clients return to them on repeat assignments and rely on them for their most complex programmes of work.
With a strong order book and a consistent pipeline of high-value projects secured with leading end users, the business continues to grow steadily and is investing in its pre-construction and estimating capability. Joining at this stage offers genuine influence over how work is priced, secured and delivered.
The culture is professional yet down-to-earth, with senior leadership that is highly accessible and committed to developing people from within. Estimators are treated as integral to the success of the business and given the autonomy, support and exposure to grow into wider commercial leadership roles over time.
Working Environment & Projects
You will be joining an experienced and tight-knit estimating team responsible for pricing a varied portfolio of commercial electrical works across London and the South East. The work is fast-paced, varied and intellectually engaging, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, value engineering and building robust commercial submissions.
The project portfolio is genuinely interesting, with typical schemes ranging from high-end headquarters and large-scale office fit-outs to broadcast studios, media production environments and mission-critical workplace projects. End users include globally recognised brands and blue-chip organisations across the technology, media, finance and professional services sectors.
Project values typically range from around £1m up to £10m+, with many delivered within live, occupied or technically challenging environments. This offers strong technical exposure and the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of high-spec commercial electrical installations from concept through to handover.
The estimating function works closely with the in-house design, project delivery and commercial teams, creating a genuinely collaborative environment where good ideas are listened to and your input has visible impact on the work the business wins and delivers.
