Hotel Financial Controller
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring all financial procedures are in place and adhered to, supporting decision-making processes, and driving profitability.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee all financial activities and operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, analysing, and reporting.
* Work closely with senior management to provide critical financial insights that support decision-making and drive profitability.
* Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly and annual financial statements.
* Lead the preparation of annual budgets, manage cash flow, and conduct variance analysis.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Manage payroll processing for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations.
* Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and performance reviews.
* Drive cost control initiatives to improve profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry (or similar industry).
* Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
