ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, TOMMY HILFIGER - SOUTHAMPTON

About the Role
Our stores are the life and soul of our business. As the world of retail evolves, our stores set the tone for what our brands stand for. The Assistant Manager leads by example, inspires their team, and ensures a high standard of service and store presentation. You will partner with the Store Manager to achieve company standards and objectives while championing an entrepreneurial spirit and nimbleness in a changing environment.
Responsibilities Include
* Lead store teams to generate sales and profit, minimize losses, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining a visually distinctive and well-kept store.
* Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance in collaboration with others.
* Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for the sales floor and back room.
* Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication between VM and store teams.
* Partner with the store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve standards and objectives.
* Foster quality relationships with internal and external customers and develop a loyal customer base through outstanding service.
* Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, service levels, and inventory.
* Communicate sales drivers and priorities to the Store Manager; develop weekly action plans for visual presentation and store performance.
* Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
* Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring; recruit personnel with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
* Work with the Store Manager to develop bench strength for key positions and potential successors.
* Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
* Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals, key performance expectations, and guidance on improving performance.
* Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
