Job Description
The successful Credit Administrator's duties include:
3. Recording and maintaining lending facilities in line with approved credit limits.
4. Drafting Facility Letters, including Regulated Mortgage Contracts.
5. Liaising with legal and valuation partners, and ensuring all conditions precedent are met before draw-down.
6. Monitoring and reviewing security arrangements, insurance requirements, and staged draw-downs.
7. Managing facility draw-downs and repayments, including release of security upon full repayment.
8. Ensuring annual relationship and insurance reviews are conducted.
9. Maintaining a clear audit trail and providing management assurance on operational controls.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in credit administration or lending within banking. Advantages for this role include exposure to legal services, underwriting, or loan relationship management. They will possess strong logical thinking, attention to detail, above-average Excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and sound knowledge of the UK property market.
