As our Insights Analyst you will use customer data and our tools to optimise their performance and improve patient outcomes. For example, how can ambulance services best use their fleet? What would happen if delays handing patients over to hospitals takes a long time? Can we help paramedics finish their shifts on time and reduce fatigue? All these questions and more can be answered using insights from our software, delivering tangible benefits to our customers. If this sounds interesting to you, join our team in Reading As our Insights Analyst you will: Implement, support, and use simulation models of customer operations, in collaboration with teams around the world. Work with customers to acquire in-depth knowledge of their operating procedures and practices to enable accurate and useful simulation models to be built. This includes data analysis, requirements gathering and problem solving. Deliver actionable recommendations to customers, addressing challenges and issues in the form of formal reports, presentations, and informal communications. Assist the customer with their ongoing use of Omda products, including support, maintenance, upgrades and training. Be an advocate for the customer within Omda, including Identifying opportunities for new products, modules, or enhancements. Capturing customer requirements for change requests and new opportunities. Your matching strengths for our role: Degree or recognised qualification(s) in a technical subject such as Operations Research, Engineering, Information Management or similar. Other educational backgrounds will be considered if the candidate has suitable vocational experience. Three years of experience in a comparable role. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex datasets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights to address challenges. Problem-solving skills with a mindset that actively seeks out and embraces challenges and enjoys tackling complex issues. Ability to work independently and exercise initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with R, Python or similar. Experience interacting with customers at different organisational levels. Attention to detail. It would be great, but not mandatory, if you have: Knowledge of mathematical simulation Exposure to operations research disciplines Experience/training in the fundamentals of statistical modelling Familiarity with emergency service or other public safety operations We are interviewing continuously, therefore we recommend you submit your application as soon as possible.
