Workforce Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Acting Residential Care Manager to join a well-established care home in Bedford. This role is offered on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the residential care service Deliver and promote high-quality, person-centred care Lead and supervise a team of carers and senior carers Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies Work closely with local authorities, families, and external professionals Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and team supervisions Requirements: NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards) Proven experience working with CQC and local authority partnerships Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and lead by example Previous experience managing a care team in a residential setting Knowledge of care planning and supporting individuals with varied needs About You: You will be cheerful, compassionate, and driven to provide exceptional care.
