Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the CF62 area who are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team for the summer term.
This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils at a crucial stage in their education, helping to build strong foundations in learning, confidence, and development.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
* Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and structured lessons
* Providing 1:1 and small group support in literacy and numeracy
* Supporting phonics, reading, and early learning development
* Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, or childcare setting)
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Confidence supporting early learning and phonics
* A genuine passion for working with younger children
