Mechanical Supervisor
Meridian are working with a leading, well-established M&E Contractor that havepermanent employment opportunities for experienced Mechanical Supervisors that are based near Leeds. You will be covering projects located in Leeds and the surrounding West Yorkshire areas. These projects will offer a variety of work on industrial and commercial sites. These will include hospitals, educational buildings, data centres, infirmaries, power stations, offices, MoD sites, warehouses, and government/council buildings. Requirements for the role:
* Gold Mechanical CSCS card
* SSSTS
* IPAF preferred but not essential
* Experience supervising commercial/industrial M&E jobs
* Experience being customer-facing, and dealing with supply chain meetings
Duties will include (but aren't exclusive to):
* Managing mechanical subcontractors on a daily basis, such as plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical mates/apprentices
* Meeting deadlines and client demands whilst following all industry H&S standards
* Regularly reporting progress to your senior management team, as well as external supply chain members and clients
* Be able to manage RAMS, toolbox talks, induction requests, timesheet processes, and onsite Health and Safety
* Guide and manage mechanical installation such as 1st and 2nd fix of sanitary, drainage, heating and cooling systems, hot and cold water systems etc.
