Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing customer and vendor master data through SAP, ensuring that all records are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date. You will collaborate closely with various departments across the organisation as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers and customers. Key duties include: Process and execute requests for creation, updates, and deactivation of customer and vendor records using SAP, ensuring all actions comply with internal controls and data governance policies. Collaborate with suppliers, customers, business units, sales, and finance teams to validate and align master data, maintaining clear documentation for all master data processes. Monitor the quality and consistency of customer and vendor master data by identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly to uphold data integrity. Support the implementation of master data standards and contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives within the transactional finance function. Accurately post incoming payments to customer accounts using SAP, investigating unapplied cash or payment discrepancies and resolving account queries efficiently. Liaise with business units, customers, suppliers, and transactional teams to ensure correct application of payments while maintaining comprehensive records for audit purposes. Reconcile daily cash batches and assist with month-end close activities by providing accurate reporting and supporting documentation as required. You shoould have the following experience: Demonstrated experience working within transactional finance functions with specific exposure to master data management or cash allocation processes. Proficiency in ERP systems-preferably SAP-and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel along with other Office applications. Exceptional organisational skills that enable you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail combined with a commitment to maintaining accuracy across all aspects of financial data management.
