Job Overview:
In our restaurant, each day promises to be different. We are customer-obsessed, and as part of the front of house team, you will greet new and regular customers at the door, providing them with the best experience. This will include making drinks, taking orders, and ensuring everyone feels welcome.
You will also be responsible for takeaways, communicating with our riders and drivers to ensure that customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
In addition to your front of house duties, you will also support the kitchen team when needed — helping the chef in the pizza section and assisting with prep work during busy periods or quieter service times.
Responsibilities will include:
* Interacting with new and returning guests, providing them with an awesome experience from the moment they arrive until they leave, full of delicious food
* Supporting all aspects of day-to-day operations: from ensuring the restaurant is clean and safe, to serving guests and helping coordinate takeaways
* Assisting the chef in the pizza section and supporting the kitchen with prep tasks as needed
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet, seat, and serve guests professionally
* Present menus, offer recommendations, and take accurate orders
* Deliver food and drinks promptly and manage course timing
* Maintain the cleanliness of tables and the dining area
* Assist with restocking, back-of-house tasks, and closing duties (mopping, vacuuming)
* Follow cleaning schedules and uphold health standards
* Assisting the chef in the pizza section and supporting the kitchen with prep tasks as needed
Qualifications:
* Prior server experience is a plus
* Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
* Positive, team-oriented attitude
Work Environment:
* Fast-paced, standing for extended periods
* Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required
Location: South Hampstead
Contract: 20 hours per week, shift work, immediate start
25 days holiday (plus extra days with length of service)
