My client, a leading global Law Firm, are seeking a Resource Manager (Work Allocation) to join their wider Firm.
Working closely with the COO and other Resource Managers within the firm, the role will be responsible for managing the work allocating process runs smoothly and the service is operating to a high standard, looking at process improvement and stakeholder management with the Corporate practice group.
The key duties will include:
1. Leading on work allocation for the Corporate team
2. Act as a trusted advisor to the lawyers by understanding client requirements and the wider needs of the business, in order to facilitate effective resourcing decisions.
3. Ensuring maximum effectiveness of the work allocation within the departments
4. Be responsible for the design and delivery of work allocation process improvements across all practice groups
5. Work closely with Senior Stakeholders within the organisation to achieve the firm's dedication to diversity and positive financial growth as well as other strategic projects.
The Resource Manager will need to be able to exhibit strong strategic and operation skills within Resource Management/Work Allocation. They will be able to think critically and at pace to find ideal work solutions. They must be personable, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues at a senior level as well as able to lead and inspire a team. Experience of working in a similar environment such as a law firm or professional service is essential.
