Recruiting all levels of Engineering within the FMCG Industry!
If you’re the sort of engineer who’d rather fix the cause than keep firefighting the symptoms, we should talk.
This is a role for someone who can walk into a manufacturing plant, look at the automation and control systems, and not just see it working, but see how it could work better.
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping the manufacturer’s automation, control, and networking systems reliable, secure, and performing like they should.
PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, networks, instrumentation… it’s all in your hands. And yes, there will be some fault-finding and head-scratching (the fun bits!) alongside preventative maintenance and improvement projects.
The job isn’t about sitting in a corner running diagnostics all day. You’ll be part of the action, working with production, packaging, utilities, IT, maintenance, and even the cyber security team to make sure the tech and the process are in sync. You’ll also lead on upgrades, manage risks, keep documentation tight, and make sure we’re ahead of the curve rather than reacting to problems.
What you’ll need to bring:
* A background in electrical/automation engineering (with a recognised qualification)
* PLC and SCADA/HMI skills (Siemens, Rockwell, WinCC… you know the drill)
* Confident with control networks, comms protocols, and electrical safety
* The ability to diagnose, fix, and improve automation systems without the drama
* Experience in a manufacturing setting - food & beverage would be ideal but not essential
In return, you’ll get to work in a world-class facility where investment in tech isn’t just lip service, and where you’ll have the space to do the job properly.
Think this could be your next move? Click apply and we’ll run through the finer details!
