We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming, with the ability to educate individuals of all ages and skill levels. We are passionate about nurturing children to become confident safe swimmers, with great stroke technique and equip them with the skills to enjoy all water-based activities.
Lessons are held 7 days a week, term time.
Monday to Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Our venues are:
* Ackworth School near Pontefract,
* Silcoates School in Wakefield,
* The Grammar School at Alwoodley, Leeds.

* A poolside coordinator is present at all venues to offer support and deal with customer queries,
* In house training for Rescue test for swimming teachers and coaches,
* Staff uniform is provided,
* Company pension scheme available if eligible,
* Salary: £ £20.50 per hour depending on candidate, experience and qualifications.
Skills and qualities required:
* We nurture children, encouraging them to reach their potential. Having a friendly and caring personality is a must.
* You must be reliable, motivated, enthusiastic and share our passion for teaching swimming.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Join us in making a difference in our community by helping individuals develop their swimming skills while fostering a love for the water
* Be a professional, punctual, responsible and well-organised individual,
* Swim England Level 2 / STA Level 2 Certificate Qualification. We will consider candidates holding the Swim England Level 1 / STA Level 2 Award with a view to becoming a fully qualified teacher in the near future,
* Ideally hold the National Rescue Test for Swimming Teachers and Coaches, although this training can be provided if successful,
* DBS preferred although this can be applied for if successful,
Desirable Skills
* Baby & Pre School certificate
* NPLQ Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Experience or CPD trained for delivering adult lessons
* Level 2 Award in Aquatic Teaching - People with Disabilities
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.62-£20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 2.5 – 10 per week
