About the Role
We are recruiting a Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer with either an Electrical or Mechanical background to join our Estates Department and help maintain and improve our site.
The maintenance team undertakes planned and reactive maintenance alongside minor project works on our Southampton site. The site is highly serviced and unique in design, construction and operation. The role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks including low voltage, BMS, fire alarms, security systems and AHU’s within simple offices through to complex laboratories and workshops at the cutting edge of science. It can be challenging and dynamic but very rewarding.
About You
Qualifications: Mechanical or Electrical NVQ3 or equivalent.
Experience: Previous knowledge of building services and experience in electrical or mechanical installation and maintenance is essential.
Additional training will be provided as required.
