Job Description
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This is a full- or part-time opportunity to work in a newly refurbished, well-equipped practice with a loyal client base and a supportive team.
The role involves working alongside an experienced Lead Vet, supported by a close-knit team, including an HRVN, RVN, SVN, and two receptionists. There will be periods of sole charge, but support from the wider network is available. The practice sees a varied caseload, with 90% of clients insured, allowing for continuity of care. Flexible working patterns can be discussed to suit individual needs.
Responsibilities include providing exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures, delivering professional excellence while maintaining high standards of compliance, preparing accurate treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates, mentoring and supporting the veterinary team, promoting clinical best practices, and collaborating within the wider veterinary community.
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in delivering high-quality patient and client care. Strong teamwork, leadership, and mentoring skills are essential.
The facility includes digital x-ray, modern in-house laboratory testing, ultrasound, two operating theatres, and separate cat, dog, and isolation wards. On-site out-of-hours care is provided by Vets Now, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
