We are looking to recruit a part-time Band 6 Occupational Therapist on a permanent basis for our AHP team within the Stewartry area of Dumfries and Galloway. The Occupational Therapy team provide inpatient rehabilitation and community rehabilitation, either in the Occupational Therapy department or within patients’ own homes.
You would be working within a well-established and very welcoming service. The role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals, with potential for future development in postural management.
Due to the ever-changing health and social care climate, this post holder may be required in the future to work flexibly, including regular weekends, to provide a 6- or 7-day per week service. There is also a requirement to travel to different workplaces in response to service developments and future needs.

As from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
