Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based in Abingdon-On-Thames. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine laboratory tasks, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, conduct quality control checks, and utilize analytical skills to ensure the integrity of data and processes. Contributing to PhosphonicS’ cutting-edge solutions, this role will support the development and optimization of the company’s functionalized silica technology in collaboration with the scientific and technical teams.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated proficiency in Laboratory Equipment operation and maintenance
* Strong Quality Control and Analytical Skills in a scientific setting
* Core Laboratory Skills necessary for data handling and experiment execution
* Experience working as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar scientific role
* High attention to detail, organizational abilities, and critical thinking skills
* Familiarity with industry safety and operational protocols
* A background in chemistry or related scientific field; a degree or relevant certification is advantageous
