I’m seeking a patient, knowledgeable tutor to give private art lessons focused on painting for my teenage child. We’d like weekly sessions of about 1.5 to 2 hours, covering color theory, composition, and basic techniques with acrylics and watercolors. The ideal tutor will tailor lessons to the student’s interests (landscapes and still life) while also building fundamentals. We prefer someone with a portfolio, experience teaching beginners to intermediate students, and the ability to provide a small, portable set of materials for home use.
