Raytheon UK is searching for a A3E&S Manager to join our OMNIA® Training team.

As A3E&S Manager, you will be critical to the successful delivery of the programme, collaborating within matrix organisation, with multi-disciplinary teams within Engineering

The role:

The Audiences Actors Adversaries and Specialists (A3E&S) Manager is responsible for co-ordinating exercise requirements and liaison with providers in the OMNIA Training Organisation. This position is critical to the successful delivery of the Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP), ensuring that training is resourced to meet the British Army’s needs.

The A3E&S Service supports exercise planning and execution, manages contractor support and co-ordinates A3E&S services to exercises in locations both UK and Overseas.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Training Delivery Team responsible for contract management and forging links with the Training Support team, integrating with Military workforce, managing change, and ensuring that training solutions are appropriately co-ordinated and resourced.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the A3E&S Service.
2. Close liaison with contractors and military staff to ensure that exercises are supported appropriately.
3. Support the planning, development and implementation of tailored exercise support solutions for Collective Training Events.
4. Collaborate with the contractor to ensure A3E&S Services are aligned to the current operational environment, the pacing threat and current British Army Doctrine.
5. Direct liaison with Facilitation and Administration Service within Omnia Training
6. Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance standards are met throughout the transformation lifecycle.
7. Be part of a dynamic cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
8. Monitor and report on progress, risks, and outcomes to Training Delivery leadership.
9. Any other duties required to develop and support the A3E&S Service.

Required Skills and Experience

10. Proven experience in managing a wide range of military and industry stakeholders.
11. Deep understanding of management methodologies and best practices.
12. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence at all levels of an organisation.
13. Experience in risk management, and benefits realisation.
14. Excellent communication and management skills.
15. Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality and be able to plan and multitask.
16. Adopt a flexible approach to the role, adapt to evolving priorities.
17. Experience working in or with public sector or defence-related programmes.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

18. Experience with training both in the UK and overseas.
19. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and digital transformation tools.
20. Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
21. Ability to foster innovation and drive cultural change within large organisations.
22. Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party delivery partners.
