Responsibilities
* Managing site security team, ensuring that all contracted and temporary hours are fulfilled to the complete satisfaction of the client.
* Reporting to the Contracts Manager and onsite client(s).
* Deliver best in class service across the contract asset, working alongside both client and company.
Main Duties
* Manage the security (and other owned service) teams to ensure that the operational delivery of the service is maintained to the highest agreed standard.
* Scheduling and rostering of officers that fall within your remit.
* Daily reconciliation of delivered hours to the customer.
* Ensure all holiday requests meet Unitrust processes and procedures.
* Uniform ordering and maintenance of good standards of dress, deportment and appropriate PPE.
* Manage security and emergency incidents, reporting in line with customer and Unitrust process.
* Attend and contribute to the monthly meeting with client and internal/external emergency services to review site emergency procedures.
* Attend monthly meetings with the client and other site contractors to review safety performance and share best practice.
* Deliver monthly MMI (Monthly Management Information) & SLA presentations to the client, monitoring both operational and commercial performance.
* Ensure correct and appropriate operation of security systems and procedures.
* Implement customer corporate policies and codes of practice as directed by the customer lead or Unitrust management.
* Constantly assess risk/threat and take appropriate measures to mitigate any potential eventuality.
* Regularly inspect all administrative, health and safety and quality procedures and endorse them.
* Take detailed notes of all disciplinary/capability actions taken against employees and refer such matters to the contracts manager and P&C.
* Ensure all contractual commitments are honoured and advise the contract manager of any failures; log and remedy complaints in accordance with the quality system.
* In conjunction with the support team, monitor security officer performance, conduct annual appraisals, and encourage personal development.
* Ensure security officers are aware of the latest training initiatives and are given opportunity for personal development and skill improvement.
* Maintain accurate assignment instructions, reviewed annually, ensuring officers have signed them.
* Monitor and manage absenteeism, work performance and discipline.
* Develop and manage security related projects and initiatives in collaboration with key customer management.
* Provide information on activity on site relevant to the team’s performance, ongoing issues and future development opportunities.
* Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of Unitrust and adopt a total quality approach.
* Conduct monthly OOH site visits and welfare checks.
Qualifications
* IOSH trained/certified or willing to complete IOSH course.
* Required to work approximately 50 hours per week.
