Job Title: Social Worker - Adults Mental Health Team
Location: Newcastle
About Us:
Currently recruiting for Mental Health Social worker who are committed to providing essential support and care to adults with mental health needs in our community. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our Adults Mental Health Team and contribute to improving the well-being of our service users.
In this role, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and delivering care to adults with mental health challenges, ensuring they receive the support they need to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct assessments to determine the mental health needs of service users.
2. Develop and implement care and support plans, involving service users in decision-making.
3. Provide counselling, advocacy, and guidance to service users to improve their mental health and well-being.
4. Collaborate with health care professionals and partner agencies to ensure coordinated care.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
6. A degree in Social Work.
7. Registered with Social work England
8. Previous experience in social work, especially in mental health settings.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Empathy and a commitment to improving the mental health of service users.
