Community-Based Role | Addiction Services
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead / GP with a Special Interest in Addiction to join our dedicated team at the Southend-on-Sea Community Addictions Service. This is a full-time, community-based leadership role, ideal for a dynamic clinician with a passion for substance misuse services and a recovery-focused approach to care.
Responsibilities
* Clinical service development and improvement
* Delivering high-quality, evidence-based addiction treatment
* Supporting clients through their recovery journey
* Providing clinical leadership and guidance
* Running clinical sessions across the county
* Participating in audits, quality assurance, and service performance monitoring
Candidate Requirements
* On the Specialist Register of the Royal College of Psychiatrists with an endorsement in Substance Misuse
* A Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist
* A General Practitioner (GP) with a Special Interest in Addiction
* A Specialist Addiction Doctor with a minimum of 7 years\' experience in the field
* Other relevant experience in addiction medicine may also be considered
