From Business Analysts in large government organisations to Software Developers in the private sector – we are always in search of the best talent to place, now.The role:Peregrine are looking for a lead Senior Systems Engineer to join our team on RochesterResponsibilities:Understanding customer needs and collaborating to develop, validate and manage requirementsDeveloping system architectures and sub-systems using a Model Based Engineering approachIntegration, analysis and test of real time systems containing multiple technical disciplines, such as electronic, mechanical, optical and software sub-systemsProviding guidance, coaching and nurturing talent in other engineersVerifying that our products satisfy customer needsTaking accountability for collaborative technical work package execution and associated outcomesSteering new and improved systems development using best practice processes and techniquesSkills & Experience:Proven experience developing systems in relevant product markets and/or domains, such as control systems, real time displays, embedded software or safety related systems, using design methodologies such as agile product developmentProven experience in requirements management, analysis, modelling and/or simulation, using tools such as Siemens Polarion, DOORS®, CAMEO, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB and/or SimulinkA degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant STEM subject (e.g. Engineering, Computing, Physics or Mathematics)Desirable skills:Experience in integration, test, and/or verification of real time and/or safety related systemsUnderstanding of safety assessment processes including how these processes influence the designCustomer and/or supplier liaison experience for technical aspects, verifying and obtaining agreement that customer needs are satisfiedAn understanding of information assurance, cyber security and environmental impact aspects relating to real time embedded engineering productsAbout PeregrineWe build workforces that deliver tech and change programmes at leading UK organisations.By combining data science from Peregrine Intelligence, our industry-accredited Peregrine Academy, and market-leading attraction and diversity initiatives, we bridge capability gaps at all levels in public and private sector organisations.
