Job Description
The Breakfast and Afternoon Tea Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the smooth running of food and beverage service within the outlet. This role requires strong leadership, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team while ensuring brand and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Take sole responsibility for the restaurant during shifts, allocating duties, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth operations.
2. Oversee and orchestrate the service of food and beverages, anticipating guest needs and responding positively to special requests.
3. Motivate, train, and lead the team, fostering a professional and positive working environment.
4. Attend to all guest requests with professionalism, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.
5. Delegate tasks to associates to guarantee seamless service and timely attention for each table.
6. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, including setting and resetting tables for the next service and clearing away used items.
7. Ensure smooth delivery of all guest requirements and uphold service standards (LQA and Fairmont).
Additional Responsibilities
8. Assist the Outlet Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
9. Contribute to department CES (Colleague Engagement Survey) action plans to drive team morale and engagement.
10. Actively contribute to upholding brand values and quality standards at all times.
11. Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the outlet and wider property.
Qualifications
12. Proven experience in a supervisory role within Food & Beverage (restaurant, lounge, or afternoon tea service).
13. Strong background in delivering high-end guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.
14. Experience managing and motivating a team, including training and performance development.
15. Confident in handling guest complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
