Head of Design Technology - Permanent - January - Braintree - £32,916 - £51,048 + TLR2B.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Design and Technology department with direction, support and guidance in planning, teaching and assessing the school's Design and Technology curriculum.
* Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning across the school to ensure all students progress within the subject.
* Utilise management experience and, ideally, prior experience as a subject lead in one or more of Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials or Textiles.
Requirements
* Strong leadership and management experience in Design and Technology.
* Experience as a subject lead or equivalent in Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials or Textiles is desirable.
* Ability to provide direction, support and guidance for curriculum development and assessment.
