We are The Hire Place UK, part of the Places for People Group; we are looking for a Tool Fitter. More about your role We are looking to hire a Tool Fitter on a permanent basis. Based on site 5 days a week in Merstham (Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm), you will be responsible for providing high quality and efficient equipment maintenance and repair service. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for preparing tools and equipment for hire, carrying out maintenance and repairs in the Merstham depot. The equipment will then be hired out and used by our customers on their sites. As well as carrying out tool fitter works to both tools and equipment, you will also carry out maintenance and repairs on customer sites. More about you The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role (i.e. Construction or Labour), however we are willing to provide full training those who have a positive attitude and are keen to pursue a career within the Hire industry.
