Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join the Intervention & Planning Team for Barnet Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage complex caseloads involving Child Protection, Child in Need, and care proceedings.
* Complete comprehensive assessments and develop robust care and intervention plans.
* Undertake court-related work, including report writing and attendance at hearings.
* Deliver purposeful direct work with children and families to reduce risk and promote long-term stability.
* Support and mentor social workers, contributing to professional development and quality practice.
* Work within a multi-agency framework to safeguard children effectively.
* Maintain high-quality case recordings and comply with statutory timescales.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working
Pay Rate:
* £39.04 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
* Social Work England registration
* Significant experience within Children's Social Care
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and care proceedings
* Experience within Intervention, Planning, or similar statutory teams
