* £22.22/hr for Night Shifts
* £23.88/hr for Saturdays
* £25.00/hr for Sundays & Bank Holidays
Shift Pattern:
4 on, 4 off rota 18:00 to 06:00.
We're seeking a skilled Yard Shunter to join our night team at a busy distribution centre. If you're confident driving large vehicles and have a knack for managing a yard, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle & Trailer Movement: Safely maneuvering HGVs and trailers around the yard and warehouse areas.
2. Safety & Inspections: Performing routine safety checks and inspections to ensure vehicles and trailers are roadworthy and comply with regulations.
3. Coupling & Uncoupling: Efficiently connecting and disconnecting trailer units.
4. Site Support: Assisting with smooth operations across transport, production, and distribution, especially during loading and unloading.
5. Health & Safety: Maintaining a strong focus on safety, reporting hazards, and preventing accidents.
