We are working with a well‑established and highly regarded regional practice that is expanding its presence with the opening of a brand‑new office in Darlington. As part of this exciting growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join their team.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing office at an early stage, working alongside a small but collaborative team. You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy work, cohabitation disputes and prenuptial agreements. The role will involve regular client contact, drafting legal documentation and attendance at court hearings. Alongside handling an existing caseload, you will also play an important role in developing new business and building a strong presence within the local Darlington market.
About You
* Ideally you will be a qualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE in family law
* Experience handling privately funded matters is essential
* Advocacy experience and confidence attending court hearings would be highly beneficial
* A proactive approach to business development and networking in the local area is important
* Strong client care, communication and time management skills are key to success in this role
